APPETIZER: Samantha’s Kale Chips
1 bunch kale
1 Tbsp. Grapes & Olives On Tap Garlic Mushroom Olive Oil (enough to lightly, evenly coat all leaves)
1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Black pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F. Wash and dry kale, (a salad spinner helps), and trim stems. Rough chop. Mix seasoned salt, garlic powder and pepper. In large mixing bowl, evenly coat kale with Garlic Mushroom Olive Oil Sprinkle with lemon juice and vinegars and toss. Lightly sprinkle seasonings a little at a time, tossing between adding, until evenly seasoned. (Not all seasoning will be used.) Bake on greased sheet pan for about 15-20 minutes (or until done to your crispness preference, edges brown, not burned.) Toss every 5 minutes while baking to cook evenly.It’s a delicious, low calorie, nutritious snack!
