Not HO-HO-HUM……Just, Hummus

"How many of you GO friends have had enough holiday sugar, treats, overindulged goodies? How many more gatherings do you have on your calendar? What events are you hosting? Does food feel overwhelming and heavy? It doesn’t have to. I like hummus. All year round. This is so easy, so super versatile…it’s healthy, full of protein and vegans/vegetarians appreciate seeing it offered as part of an appetizer course. While my hummus did not end up as creamy, lush and smooth as I’ve gotten it before, the slightly chunkier mix today, is still good. I kept this simple – I used GO-On Tap Meyer Lemon oo, 2 chopped garlic cloves, tahini, juice of 1 lemon, salt, pepper, and red pepper flake. I topped it with sunflower seeds and a bit of herbs de ’Provence. You can add in olives, roasted red pepper, basil….anything. Pull out your GO-On Tap roasted chili oo or Persian Lime (and top w/chopped pistachios), use the Blood Orange oo and top with lightly toasted, chopped Macadamia nuts.
